Social Marketing Campaign to promote smoking cessation

Through the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Tobacco Strategy the Health Directorate are developing a social marketing campaign to promote smoking cessation.

The Health Directorate is seeking nominations for local champions to be the face of the anti-smoking and healthy lifestyles social marketing campaign.

The purpose of the campaign is to create awareness of the positive benefits from stoping smoking and changing to a healthier lifestyle and the campaign will develop a story telling DVD, coffee table booklet, posters and pamphlets

We are currently looking for young children, young adolescents, parents, pregnant women, persons suffering with a chronic disease and elders.

Nominees must meet the selection criteria below and successful applicants must be available for interviews, filming and photography over the next few months and will be paid a small talent fee for their time. Nominations finish 02/03/2012
