Celebrating 40 years of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy
The Aboriginal Tent Embassy site, on Thursday, 26 January 2012 celebrates "SOVEREIGNTY DAY" that will mark 40 years since the first protest on the site.
A smoking ceremony and flag raising will commence at 8am (Opposite Old Parliament House, King George Terrance, Parkes, Canberra), followed by a march to proceed at 10am (Opposite Family Law Court - Cafe ANU, University Avenue).
